Jennifer Hudson & Ma$e – Mr. DJ

Posted in 1 on April 5, 2017 by bobbybounce

For whatever reason, Netflix continues to throw money at Adam Sandler for new films, despite the fact that he’s about 20 years past his prime. I imagine people are actually watching these train wrecks because Netflix keeps ordering more. Here’s a new music video for “Mr. DJ”, a track Jennifer Hudson and Ma$e recorded for Sandler’s latest, Sandy Wexler. The flick, which stars Sandler, Hudson, Arsenio Hall, Kevin James and Terry Crews among others, is about a 90’s Hollywood talent manager and it premieres on April 14th. #NewMusic

Talib Kweli – 64 Bars Freestyle

Posted in 1 on April 5, 2017 by bobbybounce

Talib Kweli hits Red Bull Studios Auckland to take part in their ’64 Bars’ freestyle series and absolutely dismantles the instrumental. I mean, he bodied this whole thing, but he really starts going in just after he hits the 2:00 minute mark. Sheesh.

Look for The Seven, the new joint project from Kweli and Styles P, to arrive on April 14th with guest appearances from Jadakiss, Sheek Louch, Common, Rapsody, Chris Rivers and NIKO IS.

While I have you, you should also check out K’Valentine’s new track with Styles, “Soul Searching” #Dope

Kevin Gates, who fans thought would be back in the world by now following his completion of a 6-month bid for assault, is currently in custody in Chicago settling an outstanding weapons beef that he had previously caught in that city. Meanwhile, a new track called “What If”, which borrows heavily from Joan Osborne’s “What If God Was One Of Us”, just surfaced today.

“…I run the genre, you’re all YOD’s pupils, spit the first quadruple entendre”

With his new album Packs bubbling, Your Old Droog stopped by Statik Selektah’s Showoff Radio a couple of weeks back and did what he does on a couple of different instrumentals over the course of nearly 4 minutes. #Dope
