Mary J Blige Talks New Kanye Record, The LOX with Flex

Mary J Blige recently sat down with Flex for one of his in-depth #WeGotAStoryToTell interviews and she spoke on a few notable subjects, including the new record she has with Kanye West (Flex says it’s super hard), the history of the “Who Shot Ya” beat and how she personally brought the LOX demo tape to Puff. Beyond that, she speaks very candidly about her recent divorce, LA Reid coming to Schlobohm projects in Yonkers to try and get her to sign a deal, her still living there when “You Remind Me” popped off, attending parties at iconic Yonkers Hip-Hop institution School 12, her relationship with Faith during the Bad Boy era and much more.

As promised, Killa delivers his new single “10,000 Miles” and the song’s accompanying music video/short film. The track features a prominent sample of Vanessa Carlton’s 2000 hit “A Thousand Miles” and as we saw in the preview, it details Cam and a young lady’s tumultuous relationship.
