Take a Tour of Yonkers with Jadakiss

Posted in 1 on November 11, 2015 by bobbybounce

In the latest episode of Complex’s “The Neighborhood,” Jadakiss takes us on a tour of some of his early haunts in my hometown, the Home of the Brave, Yonkers, New York. He shows us the first building he lived in on Pier Street which is right off the main strip of Riverdale Avenue and a few blocks from the building where I grew up.

Then he takes us to his old grade school and walks us through the Woodworth/Glenwood area where he later moved and started hustling. Those streets, including Ravine and Warburton are the blocks that inspired all of those legendary bars we all love. Finally he hits up the barbershop for a cut, although I don’t know why they didn’t go see the big homie Norm on South Broadway, or swing by 354 or Juices 4 Life for that matter. #Salute #Respect #Complex
